Ac Reggiana 1919 SpA is happy to announce to have acquired from Ac Lumezzante the French midfielder, Gael Genevier.

Genevier was born in Sain Martin d’Hères on the 26th of June 1982. He grew up in the Olympique Lyon Academy, the club where he first played at professional level too. On 2003 he moved to Perugia and there started his Italian footballing career. From Perugia to Catania on loan and then Perugia again before joining Sangiovannese in 2006. In 2007 he played in Pisa for two years before transferring to Siena in 2009. He played with Torino in 2010 and got back to Siena and then on loan again in Livorno and back to Pisa, again, in 2011. Played for Juve Stabia in 2012, while the following year is in Vercelli, playing for the local Pro Vercelli. In 2014 he was still in Piemonte, this time with Novara. Once the contract with Siena ended, in summer 2014, Genevier signed with Lumezzane, club where he had played until today when he signed for Ac Reggiana.

Statistically, Genevier played 8 games in Serie A, 159 in Serie B with 11 goals and 15 assists, 78 games in Lega Pro with one goal and four assists. In this season, the French midfielder played 19 games adding one assist and 2 League Cup matches.
